In accordance with the financial rules of the COP, a special fund was established to support the participation of representatives of developing, and in particular least developed, country Parties affected by desertification and/or drought, particularly those in Africa, in the sessions of the COP and its subsidiary bodies.
10- وفقاً للقواعد المالية لمؤتمر الأطراف، أنشئ صندوق خاص لدعم مشاركة ممثلي البلدان الأطراف النامية، ولا سيما أقل البلدان نمواً المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، وبخاصة الواقعة في أفريقيا، في دورات مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئاته الفرعية.

20. In accordance with the financial rules of the COP, a special fund was established to support the participation of representatives of developing, and in particular least developed, country Parties affected by desertification and/or drought, particularly those in Africa, in the sessions of the COP and its subsidiary bodies.
20- وفقاً للقواعد المالية لمؤتمر الأطراف، أنشئ صندوق خاص لدعم مشاركة ممثلي البلدان الأطراف النامية، ولا سيما أقل البلدان نمواً المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، وبخاصة الواقعة في أفريقيا، في دورات مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئاته الفرعية.

In this regard, the secretariat of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) draws resources to support the participation of representatives from CSOs from the Supplementary Fund, in accordance with the financial rules of procedure of the COP.
2- وفي هذا الصدد، تستمد أمانة اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر (الاتفاقية) الموارد اللازمة لدعم مشاركة ممثلي منظمات المجتمع المدني من الصندوق التكميلي(4)، وفقاً للقواعد المالية لمؤتمر الأطراف.

Pursuant to decision 16/CP.2,4 a small percentage of the fund was also used to support the participation of representatives of eligible Parties in intersessional meetings of the Bureau of the COP, and the participation of Bureau members in consultations or official meetings relating to the Convention process.

Paragraph 7 (c) of the financial procedures states that the resources of the COP shall comprise, inter alia, voluntary contributions " to support the participation of the representatives of developing country Parties and of other Parties with economies in transition in the Conference of Parties and its subsidiary bodies. "
5- تنص الفقرة 7(ج) من الإجراءات المالية على أن موارد مؤتمر الأطراف تشتمل، في جملة مصادر أخرى، على التبرعات " لدعم مشاركة ممثلي البلدان النامية الأطراف والبلدان الأطراف الأخرى التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية في أعمال مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئتيه الفرعيتين " .

Paragraph 7 (c) of annex 1 to the financial procedures states that the resources of the COP shall comprise, inter alia, voluntary contributions " to support the participation of the representatives of developing country Parties and of other Parties with economies in transition in the Conference of the Parties and its subsidiary bodies " .
5- تنص الفقرة 7(ج) من المرفق الأول بالإجراءات المالية على أن موارد مؤتمر الأطراف تشمل جملة مصادر من بينها تبرعات " لدعم مشاركة ممثلي البلدان النامية الأطراف والبلدان الأطراف الأخرى التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية في أعمال مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئتيه الفرعيتين " .
