32. MINURSO is proposing the realignment of the organizational structure of the Mission Support Division (see A/63/757, para. 20), as follows:

62. The proposed 2009/10 staffing for the Mission Support Division provides for a net reduction of 81 posts/positions comprising 190 new posts/positions and a reduction of 271 posts and positions.

59. Following the review of the organizational structure of the Mission Support Division and the proposed increase in the staffing of the Regional Service Centre at Entebbe, it is proposed to reduce the staffing establishment of Administrative Services by 49 posts and positions (35 international, 9 national and 5 United Nations Volunteers).

19. In line with the partial drawdown of the post-earthquake surge capacity, the staffing establishment of the Mission Support Division will be reduced by 199 temporary positions (98 international, 68 national and 33 United Nations Volunteer).
19 - وتماشيا مع التخفيض الجزئي للقدرات التي زيدت بعد الزلزال، سيُخفَّض الملاك الوظيفي لشعبة دعم البعثة بما مجموعه 199 وظيفة مؤقتة (98 وظيفة دولية و 68 وظيفة وطنية و 33 وظيفة لمتطوع من متطوعي الأمم المتحدة).

Accordingly, it is proposed to maintain the temporary position of Director of Mission Support (D-2) for the 2012/13 period, with the incumbent of the post of Chief of Mission Support (D-1) serving as Deputy Director of Mission Support responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Mission Support Division.
