The annual pension benefit of a member of the Court who has served a full nine-year term is set at half the annual salary -- $80,000 a year.

The maximum annual remuneration of a Member of the Tribunal was revised to US$ 160,000 at the Ninth Meeting of States Parties in 1999.
والتعويض السنوي الأقصى لعضو المحكمة نُقح في الاجتماع التاسع للدول الأطراف في عام 1999 ليصبح مبلغه 000 160 دولار.

A proportional amount may be more appropriate, namely, that the pension entitlement of a Member of the Tribunal who has served a full four-year term should be $20,000 and that the pension of a member who has been re-elected should be increased by an additional $150 per month for each further month of service, up to a maximum of $30,000 a year.
وقد يكون من اﻷنسب اﻷخذ بفترة متناسبة، أي أن تكون مستحقات المعاش التقاعدي لعضو المحكمة الدولية الذي عمل فترة عضوية كاملة مدتها أربع سنوات ٠٠٠ ٢٠ دولار، وأن يزاد المعاش التقاعدي للعضو الذي أعيد انتخابه بمبلغ اضافي قدره ١٥٠ دولارا شهريا لكل شهر من الخدمة بعد ذلك بحد أقصى قدره ٠٠٠ ٣٠ دولار سنويا.

Under the circumstances, the Advisory Committee is of the opinion that at this stage the annual salary of members of the Court should be maintained at its current level of $145,000.

2. The amount of the disability pension shall be equal to the amount of the retirement pension which would have been payable to the member of the Court concerned had he or she, at the time of leaving office, completed the term for which he or she had been elected, provided that it shall not be less than one half of the annual pension.
٢ - يكون مقدار معاش العجز مساويا لمقدار المعاش التقاعدي الذي كان مستحق الدفع لعضو المحكمة المعني لو أنه أتم، وقت تركه الخدمة، الفترة التي انتخب لها شريطة ألا يقل عن نصف المعاش التقاعدي السنوي.

As from 1 January 1991, a member of the Court who had ceased to hold office, had reached the age of 60 and had served a full term of nine years was entitled to receive an annual pension benefit of US$ 50,000, with a proportional reduction for a judge who had not completed a full term.
وابتداء من 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 1991، بات يحق لعضو المحكمة التي انتهت مدة خدمته وبلغ الستين من العمر وأكمل تسع سنوات كاملة في الخدمة أن يتقاضى بقية حياته معاشاً تقاعدياً سنوياً يبلغ 000 50 من دولارات الولايات المتحدة، مع خفض متناسب للقاضي الذي لم يكمل مدة تسع سنوات كاملة في الخدمة.

The Committee notes, however, that any change in the emoluments of the judges of the Court will have a direct impact on the remuneration of the ad hoc judges who receive, for each day they exercise their functions, one three-hundred-and-sixty-fifth of the annual salary payable at the time to a member of the Court as indicated in paragraph 25 of the report of the Secretary-General.
إلا أن اللجنة تلاحظ أن إدخال أي تغيير في مكافآت قضاة المحكمة سيؤثر تأثيرا مباشرا على أجور القضاة الخاصين الذين يتقاضون أجرا عن كل يوم يزاولون فيه مهامهم، قدره جزء من ثلاثمائة وخمسة وستين جزءا من المرتب السنوي المقرر دفعه آنذاك لعضو المحكمة على النحو الوارد في الفقرة 25 من تقرير الأمين العام.

Regarding retirement benefits, the Advisory Committee noted that the annual retirement benefit of a member of the Court retiring in 2005 would increase from US$ 80,000 to US$ 88,500 per annum, effective 1 January 2005.

81. Should the General Assembly approve the second option and decide to maintain the current system of salary, approved in its resolution 61/262, and approve a revised annual net base salary of $173,450 per annum, the annual retirement benefit of a member of the Court retiring in 2008 would be $86,725, with effect from 1 January 2008.
81 - وإذا اعتمدت الجمعية العامة الخيار الثاني وقررت الإبقاء على نظام المرتبات المعمول به حالياً، والمعتمد في قرارها 61/262، وأن تعتمد المرتب الأساسي السنوي الصافي المنقح البالغ 450 173 دولاراً سنوياً، فإن استحقاق التقاعد السنوي لعضو المحكمة الذي يتقاعد عام 2008 سيبلغ 725 86 دولاراً، اعتباراً من 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2008.

7. The General Assembly, in paragraph 3 of its resolution 48/252 A, decided that, with effect from 1 January 1994, the ad hoc judges referred to in article 31 of the ICJ Statute should receive for each day they exercise their functions, one three hundred and sixty fifth of the annual salary payable at the time to a member of the Court.
7 - وقررت الجمعية العامة في الفقرة 3 من قرارها 48/252 ألف أن يستمر، اعتبارا من 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 1994، القضاة الخاصون المشار إليهم في المادة 31 من النظام الأساسي لمحكمة العدل الدولية في تقاضي أجر عن كل يوم يزاولون فيه مهامهم، قدره جزء من ثلاثمائة وخمسة وستين جزءا من المرتب السنوي المقرر دفعه آنذاك لعضو المحكمة.

5.11 As decided by the General Assembly in its resolution 45/250 B, the pension entitlement of a member of the International Court of Justice who has served a full term of nine years should be $50,000 a year and the pension entitlement of a member of the Court who is re-elected should be increased by an additional $250 per month for each further month of service up to a maximum pension of $75,000 per year.
٥-١١ وفقا لما قررته الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٤٥/٢٥٠ باء، يتقاضى عضو محكمة العدل الدولية الذي أمضى في الخدمة تسع سنوات كاملة معاشا تقاعديا قدره ٠٠٠ ٥٠ دولار سنويا، ويزاد المعاش التقاعدي لعضو المحكمة الذي يعاد انتخابه بمبلغ إضافي قدره ٢٥٠ دولارا شهريا عن كل شهر خدمة إضافي على ألا يتجاوز المعاش التقاعدي ٠٠٠ ٧٥ دولار سنويا.

52. Clarification was sought regarding the proposal for modification of the pension scheme, in particular in respect of the maximum pension for a Member of the Tribunal who was re-elected.
52 - وطُلب تقديم توضيح بشأن اقتراح تعديل نظام المعاشات التقاعدية، وبصفة خاصة فيما يتعلق بالحد الأقصى للمعاش التقاعدي لعضو المحكمة الذي يعاد انتخابه.

With regard to relocation allowance upon completion of service, a Member of the Tribunal who had maintained a bona fide residence at The Hague or at Arusha for at least three continuous years during service with the Tribunals could receive a lump sum equal to 12 weeks' net salary on completion of appointment and resettlement outside the Netherlands or the United Republic of Tanzania.
ففي ما يتعلق ببدل الانتقال عند انتهاء الخدمة، يحق لعضو المحكمة الذي يكون قد أقام فعلا في لاهاي أو أورشا لمدة ثلاث سنوات متصلة على الأقل خلال خدمته في أي من المحكمتين، مبلغا إجماليا يعادل المرتب الصافي عن 12 أسبوعا عند انتهاء فترة التعيين وعودته إلى الإقامة خارج هولندا أو جمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة.

Travel and removal expenses for the retiring member of the Court are estimated at $20,000; and travel and removal expenses and installation grant of the new members of the Court, assuming that they are accompanied by a spouse and one dependant, are estimated at $47,500.
وتُقدر نفقات السفر ونقل الأثاث ومنحة الاستقرار لعضو المحكمة المتقاعد بمبلغ 000 20 دولار؛ في حين تُقدر نفقات السفر ونقل الأثاث ومنحة الاستقرار لعضو المحكمة الجديد بمبلغ 500 47 دولار، بافتراض أنه سيكون مصحوبا بزوجة ومعال واحد.
