(e) The country-driven nature of the NAP process is an aspect that is likely to make the process succeed, and the types of outputs that the country will produce during the process will depend on the country's capacity and needs;

Those included institutional arrangements for addressing adaptation, developing implementation strategies for the NAPAs, experiences in mobilizing financial and technical resources for addressing adaptation at the national level, ensuring gender-sensitive approaches in adaptation, exploring synergy with other multilateral environmental agreements at the national level, and laying the groundwork for the NAP process.

106. The SBI welcomed the technical guidelines for the NAP process and expressed its appreciation to the LEG for its work on technical guidance and support of the NAP process for the LDCs, and to the Adaptation Committee on its work on consideration of modalities for supporting developing country Parties that are not LDCs.
106- ورحبت الهيئة الفرعية بالمبادئ التوجيهية التقنية لعملية خطط التكيف الوطنية وأعربت عن تقديرها لفريق الخبراء المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً لما أنجزه من عمل فيما يخص تقديم الإرشادات التقنية والدعم لعملية خطط التكيُّف الوطنية لأقل البلدان نمواً، كما أعربت عن تقديرها للجنة التكيف لما أنجزته من عمل فيما يخص النظر في طرائق لدعم البلدان الأطراف النامية التي ليست من أقل البلدان نمواً.

20. A third LDC Party indicated that the country strengthened its understanding of the NAP process and the application of the technical guidelines through the participation of its representatives at both the twenty-third meeting of the LEG and the LEG regional training workshop on adaptation for Francophone LDCs, held on 18 - 22 March 2013 in Lomé, Togo.
20- وذكر طرف ثالث من أقل البلدان نمواً أن البلد عزَّز فهمه لعملية خطط التكيُّف الوطنية وتطبيق المبادئ التوجيهية التقنية من خلال مشاركة ممثليه في الاجتماع الثالث والعشرين لفريق الخبراء المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً وفي الحلقة التدريبية الإقليمية المتعلِّقة بالتكيُّف، التي نظمها الفريق لفائدة الأطراف الناطقة بالفرنسية من أقل البلدان نمواً في الفترة من 18 إلى 22 آذار/مارس 2013 في لومي، بتوغو.

It requested the LEG to prepare technical guidelines for the NAP process and invited Parties and relevant organizations to submit information on their experiences with the application of the guidelines for the NAP process for the LDCs, and decided to take stock of the guidelines at COP 19.
وطلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى فريق الخبراء المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً أن يُعدّ مبادئ توجيهية تقنية من أجل عملية خطط التكيُّف الوطنية ودعا الأطراف والمنظمات المعنية إلى أن تقدّم معلومات عن تجربتها في مجال تطبيق المبادئ التوجيهية لعملية خطط التكيُّف الوطنية لأقل البلدان نمواً، وقرر استعراض المبادئ التوجيهية في دورته التاسعة عشرة().
