The use of sign languages, Braille, tactile, plain-language, augmentative and alternative communication and other accessible methods of communication of their choice by persons with disabilities shall be facilitated, including with the assistance of support providers, in respect of activities related to the Committee.
1- يُيسَّر استعمال الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، بمساعدة من مقدمي الدعم، لغات الإشارة وطريقة برايل والاتصال عن طريق اللّمس واللغة المبسَّطة وطرق الاتصال المعززة والبديلة وغيرها من سبل وأشكال الاتصال المتاحة التي يختارونها بأنفسهم فيما يتعلق بالأنشطة المتصلة بعمل اللجنة.

States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to ensure that persons with disabilities can exercise their right to freedom of expression and opinion, including the freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas on an equal basis with others and through sign languages, Braille, augmentative and alternative communication, and all other accessible means, modes and formats of communication of their choice, including by:
تتخذ الدول الأطراف جميع التدابير المناسبة التي تكفل ممارسة المعوقين لحقهم في حرية التعبير وإبداء الرأي، بما في ذلك حقهم في طلب معلومات وأفكار، وتلقيها، والإفصاح عنها، على قدم المساواة مع الآخرين، واستخدام لغات الإشارة وطريقة بريل وطُرق الاتصال المعززة البديلة وجميع وسائل وطرق وأشكال الاتصال الأخرى السهلة المنال التي يختارونها بأنفسهم، بما في ذلك ما يلي:

The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, in article 30, paragraph 4, provides that persons with disabilities are entitled, on an equal basis with others, to recognition and support of their specific cultural and linguistic identity, which includes sign languages and deaf culture (CRPD/C/GC/2).
وتنص الفقرة 4 من المادة 30 من اتفاقية حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة على حق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في أن يحظوا، على قدم المساواة مع غيرهم، بالاعتراف بهويتهم الثقافية واللغوية الخاصة، وأن يحصلوا على دعم لها، بما يشمل لغات الإشارة وثقافة الصم (CRPD/C/GC/2).
