The SBSTA should elaborate those sections with a view to recommending to the Conference of the Parties, at its eighth session, a decision incorporating those sections into the guidelines for the preparation of the information required under Article 7 (decision 22/CP.7) for adoption by the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol at its first session after the entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol.
