Her delegation was satisfied with the work of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, supported any initiative to secure improvement in the situation of children affected by armed conflicts, and called for greater efforts to incorporate issues connected with the protection of children in the programmes of the United Nations system.

The Committee recommends that the State party continue and strengthen its cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, and that it explore increased cooperation with relevant United Nations entities in the implementation of the Optional Protocol.

They supported the work of United Nations agencies, including the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict and his Office, and of non-governmental organizations. Efforts of all key stakeholders remained essential to combating violations of children's rights and ensuring adherence to relevant international law.
وهي تؤيد وتدعم عمل منظمات الأمم المتحدة وخاصة الممثل الخاص للأمين العام المعني بمسألة الأطفال في الصراعات المسلحة وأعضاء مكتبه، وكذلك عمل المنظمات غير الحكومية، حيث إن عملهم جميعاً في غاية الأهمية لمواجهة انتهاكات حقوق الطفل واحترام المبادئ السارية للقانون الدولي.

The Committee further recommends that the State party continue and strengthen its cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict and to explore increased cooperation with UNICEF and other United Nations entities in the implementation of the Optional Protocol.
كذلك توصي اللجنة بأن تواصل الدولة الطرف وتعزز تعاونها مع اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر ومع الممثل الخاص للأمين العام المعني بمسألة الأطفال والنزاع المسلح وأن تستكشف المزيد من التعاون مع اليونيسيف وغيرها من الكيانات التابعة للأمم المتحدة في تنفيذ البروتوكول الاختياري.
