28. Still, on the issue of violence against women, the Committee also recommended (third sentence of paragraph 46) that the Government of the MSAR ensure that women and girls who are victims of violence have access to immediate means of redress and protection and that perpetrators are prosecuted and punished and to see to the provision of shelters and counselling services for victims of violence.
