15. Welcomes the successful launching of the Sukuk (Islamic Bond) in the world capital markets in July 2003 in the amount of US$400 million, which opened up a whole new avenue for the IDB in its quest for mobilizing additional resources in meeting the development financing needs of the Member States.
15 - يرحب بالطرح الناجح للصكوك الإسلامية في الأسواق العالمية لرأس المال في تموز/يوليه 2000 بما يقدر بمبلغ 400 مليون دولار أمريكي مما فتح مجالا واسعا جديدا للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية في سعيه لحشد الموارد الإضافية تلبية للاحتياجات المالية للتنمية في الدول الأعضاء.

It expressed its appreciation to the Islamic Development Bank for its support to ensure the success of the OIC Alliance to Assist Child Victims of the Tsunami Project, and called for strengthened coordination and cooperation between the General Secretariat, the Islamic Development Bank and civil society organizations in order to ensure the success and progress of the project.

Last August, Kuwait announced a gift of $300 million to the Islamic Development Bank, to fight poverty in Africa.
وقد أعلنت الكويت في شهر آب/ أغسطس من العام الماضي عن تقديم مبلغ 300 مليون دولار للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية لمكافحة الفقر في أفريقيا.

It made yearly voluntary contributions to international specialized agencies and regional funds and had recently contributed $300 million to the Islamic Development Bank for poverty eradication in Africa and humanitarian supplies and relief to countries stricken by natural disasters.
وأوضح أن الكويت تقدم مساهمات طوعية سنوية إلى الوكالات الدولية المتخصصة والصناديق الإقليمية، وأنها تبرعت مؤخراً بمبلغ 300 مليون دولار للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية من أجل القضاء على الفقر في أفريقيا وتوفير الإغاثة والإمدادات الإنسانية إلى البلدان التي تعرضت لكوارث طبيعية.

The Conference welcomed the Report submitted by the Secretary-General on the progress made in preparing the Final Study on Restructuring the General Secretariat to meet the Challenges of the New Millennium, and thanked the Islamic Development Bank for financing the special study on the reform of the Organization.
رحب المؤتمر بالتقرير المقدم من الأمين العام بشأن الخطوات التي تم اتخاذها في سبيل إعداد الدراسة النهائية لإعادة هيكلة الأمانة العامة لمواجهة التحديات خلال الألفية الجديدة. كما جدد الشكر للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية على تمويله للدراسة الخاصة بإصلاح المنظمة.

132. The Meeting reiterated its call on the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to consider allocating emergency humanitarian assistance to the African countries affected by the spread of meningitis.
132 - وجدد الاجتماع دعوته للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية للنظر في إمكانية منح مساعدة إنسانية عاجلة للدول الأفريقية التي تضررت بفعل انتشار داء التهاب السحايا.

7. Expresses its appreciation to the Islamic Development Bank for having prepared and submitted to the OIC General Secretariat a progress report on the contribution of the IDB for the reconstruction of Afghanistan and rehabilitation of its infrastructure.

The State of Kuwait is also committed to providing annual voluntary contributions to numerous international specialized agencies, regional organizations and funds, and has recently appropriated $300 million for the Islamic Development Bank to help eradicate poverty in Africa, in addition to its numerous donations and humanitarian and relief aid to many countries ravaged by natural disasters.
كما تلتزم دولة الكويت بتقديم مساهمات طوعية سنوية إلى كثير من المنظمات والوكالات الدولية المتخصصة، إضافة إلى الهيئات والصناديق الإقليمية. فقد خصصت مؤخرا مبلغا قدره ثلاثمائة مليون دولار للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية للقضاء على الفقر في أفريقيا، علاوة على تقديمها لكثير من المعونات الإنسانية والغوثية للدول التي تعرضت لكوارث طبيعية.

4. Notes with satisfaction that the 30th Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank held in Malaysia on 23-24 June 2005, approved the establishment of an independent institution for the financing and development of trade among IDB Member States within the IDB Group, called " the Islamic International Institution for Trade Financing " with a declared capital of US$3 billion and a subscribed capital of US$500,000,000.
4 - تسجل بارتياح قيام الاجتماع السنوي الثلاثين للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية المنعقد في ماليزيا، في الفترة من 23 - 24 حزيران/يونيه 2005م، بالموافقة علي تأسيس مؤسسة مستقلة لتمويل وتنمية التجارة بين دولة الأعضاء، ضمن مجموعة البنك تسمى " المؤسسة الدولية الإسلامية لتمويل التجارة " ، برأسمال المصرح به قدره ثلاثة مليار دولار أمريكي، وبرأسمال المطروح للاكتتاب فيه وقدره خمسمائة مليون دولار أمريكي.

Notes with satisfaction that the 31ST Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank held in Kuwait on 30-31 May 2006, witnessed the signing of the Agreement on the establishment of the Islamic Trade Finance Corporation by 45 Member States with a declared capital of US$3 billion and a subscribed capital of US$500,000,000.

In January 1994, representatives of IDB and IFSTAD met in Geneva with WIPO officials and discussed the strengthening of their cooperation.
