1. The General Assembly, convinced that the establishment of a voluntary trust fund would constitute a significant development for the future promotion and protection of the human rights of indigenous populations, established the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Populations by resolution 40/131 of 13 December 1985.
1- أنشأت الجمعية العامة صندوق الأمم المتحدة للتبرعات لصالح السكان الأصليين بموجب القرار 40/131 المؤرخ 13 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1985 اقتناعاً منها بأن إنشاء صندوق استئماني للتبرعات يعد تطوراً هاماً في مجال تعزيز حقوق السكان الأصليين وحمايتها في المستقبل.
