وإذ ترحب بقيام منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة في 30 أيلول/سبتمبر 2009 بإدراج عيد نوروز في القائمة النموذجية للتراث الثقافي غير المادي للبشرية،

Included in 2009 in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, Nowruz stands out as a particularly vibrant component of such heritage and instils a sense of identity and continuity in those who celebrate it.
ويوم النوروز، الذي أدرج عام 2009 في القائمة النموذجية التي وضعتها منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة للتراث الثقافي غير المادي للبشرية، يبرز كعنصر حيوي بصفة خاصة في هذا التراث، ويغرس في أولئك الذين يحتفلون به إحساسا بالهوية والاستمرارية.

For this reason, it would be desirable for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to look favourably upon or encourage the submission by States Parties of geographical names as items of the Intangible Cultural Heritage protected under the Convention of 17 October 2003, where this is justified by their particular situation.

14. The Convention also foresees incorporating in the " Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity " items already proclaimed " masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity " .

The nominations were made with the free, prior and informed consent of the communities concerned, a compulsory requirement for the inscription of such elements on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding and the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and for the inclusion of programmes, projects or activities in the Register of Best Safeguarding Practices.
وقُدِّمت الترشيحات بعد الحصول على موافقة المجتمعات المحلية المعنية الحرة والمسبقة والمستنيرة، التي تعد من الشروط اللازمة لإدراج هذه العناصر على قائمة التراث الثقافي غير المادي الذي يحتاج إلى صون عاجل وفي القائمة التمثيلية للتراث الثقافي غير المادي للبشرية، وشملت إدراج برامج أو مشاريع أو أنشطة ضمن سجل أفضل الممارسات في مجال الحماية.

In order to further encourage intercultural and intracultural dialogue and mutual respect among cultures, while at the same time strengthening their transmission to future generations, Nowruz was included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization on 30 September 2009.
وبغية مواصلة تعزيز الحوار بين الثقافات وداخلها والاحترام المتبادل بين الثقافات، مع التشجيع على نقلها إلى الأجيال القادمة، فقد أدرجت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو) النيروز في القائمة النموذجية للتراث الثقافي غير المادي للبشرية في 30 أيلول/سبتمبر 2009.

During the different expert meetings (Turin, Rio de Janeiro, Paris headquarters), the majority of experts agreed on the principle of compiling a list of Intangible Cultural Heritage to provide guidance to States parties, following the 1972 Convention experience, emphasizing, however, that adopting such a list did not mean that any heritage omitted from the list was not to be safeguarded.
وخلال اجتماعات الخبراء المتعددة (في تورينو، وريو دي جانيرو، بالمقر في باريس)، اتفق معظم الخبراء على مبدأ وضع قائمة تجميعية للتراث الثقافي غير المادي لتوفير التوجيه للدول الأطراف، اقتداء بتجربـة اتفاقية عام 1972، بيد أنهم شددوا على أن اعتماد تلك القائمة لا يعني أن أي تراث يغفل إدراجه فيها لن يجد الحماية.
