The fifth case concerned Mr. Hocine Sameh, allegedly last seen on 25 March 1994 at the headquarters of the 17th Rapid Response Unit of the National Gendarmerie of Bouhamdoune.
13- وتتعلق الحالة الخامسة بالسيد حسين سامح، الذي يُدعى أنه شوهد آخر مرة في 25 آذار/مارس 1994 في مقر وحدة التدخل السريع رقم 17 التابعة للدرك الوطني في بوحمدون.

He added that Djilali Hanafi, who was with him in the provisional lock-up at the Mechraâ-Sfa local station of the National Gendarmerie, had been subjected to no violence by the staff of that unit, pointing out that he had been released on 3 November 1998, at dusk, after having complained of stomach pains.

Two agreements have been signed with SOS Racisme and the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism (LICRA) and an agreement on combating discrimination was signed between the directors-general of the National Gendarmerie and National Police and the High Authority to Combat Discrimination and Promote Equality (HALDE) in December 2007.
