The general framework for the national plan on violence against children in the Sudan includes 10 spheres in which children are exposed to violations of their rights and different forms of violence:

(e) There are no regular and systematic evaluations of the existing measures addressing violence against children in the school, the Internet and other contexts.

32. Ms. Sumi (Japan) said that in Japan, where Internet use was widespread, the Government was making a concerted effort to confront violence against children in that context.
32 - السيدة سومي (اليابان): قالت إن حكومة بلدها الذي تُستعمل فيه شبكة الإنترنت على نطاق واسع، تبذل جهودا متظافرة من أجل التصدي للعنف ضد الأطفال في الفضاء الإلكتروني.

The Indian Ocean subregional consultation adopted a final declaration, which, in addition to including recommendations adopted at the meeting, requested the Observatoire des droits de l'enfant de la région l'Océan indien to conduct and publish a study on violence against children in the subregion and to evaluate the progress made in addressing violence against children in the countries of the Indian Ocean in 2010.
واعتمدت مشاورة المحيط الهندي دون الإقليمية إعلانا ختاميا، تضمن توصيات اعتمدت في الاجتماع، وطلب إلى مرصد حقوق الأطفال في منطقة المحيط الهندي أن يجري دراسة عن مسألة العنف ضد الأطفال في المنطقة دون الإقليمية وأن ينشر هذه، وأن يقِّيم مدى التقدم المحرز في التصدي للعنف ضد الأطفال في بلدان المحيط الهندي في عام 2010.
