In the same resolution, the Assembly decided to establish a Preparatory Committee open to the participation of all States Members of the United Nations and members of the specialized agencies, with the participation of observers in accordance with the established practice of the General Assembly.
وفي القرار ذاته، قررت الجمعية العامة إنشاء لجنة تحضيرية مفتوحة لاشتراك جميع الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة وأعضاء الوكالات المتخصصة، مع مشاركة مراقبين فيها وفقا للممارسة المعمول بها في الجمعية العامة.

7. Subsequently, when each category of speakers is organized following the order resulting from the selection process outlined in paragraph 5 above, the list of speakers for each meeting will be rearranged in accordance with the established practice of the General Assembly:

By paragraph 6 of its resolution 54/262 of 25 May 2000, the General Assembly decided that the Commission for Social Development would serve as the preparatory committee for the Second World Assembly on Ageing and, as such, would be open to the participation of all States Members of the United Nations, members of the specialized agencies and observers, in accordance with the established practice of the General Assembly.
قررت الجمعية العامة في الفقرة 6 من قرارها 54/262، المؤرخ 25 أيار/مايو 2000، أن تعمل لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية كلجنة تحضيرية للجمعية العالمية الثانية للشيخوخة، ومن ثم تكون مفتوحة لمشاركة جميع الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة وأعضاء الوكالات المتخصصة والمراقبين، وفقا للممارسة المعمول بها في الجمعية العامة.
