وفي القرار 57/284، كرّرت الجمعية طلبها إلى الرؤساء التنفيذيين للمنظمات المشاركة أن يراعوا تماما الإطار الزمني لتقديم تعليقاتهم، على النحو المطلوب في الفقرتين 4 (د) و (هـ) من المادة 11 من النظام الأساسي للوحدة.

وفي القرار 57/284، كررت الجمعية طلبها إلى الرؤساء التنفيذيين للمنظمات المشاركة أن يراعوا تماما الإطار الزمني لتقديم تعليقاتهم على النحو المطلوب في الفقرتين الفرعيتين 24 (د) و 24 (و) من النظام الأساسي للوحدة.

258. The Committee emphasized the need for implementation of all the recommendations of the Joint Inspection Unit that have been endorsed by intergovernmental bodies and recommended that the General Assembly request the Secretary-General to invite the executive heads of the participating organizations to provide their relevant intergovernmental bodies with the reasons for the delay or non-implementation of the recommendations addressed to them.
258 - وأكدت اللجنة على ضرورة أن تُنفذ جميع التوصيات الصادرة عن وحدة التفتيش المشتركة التي أيدتها الهيئات الحكومية الدولية، وأوصت بأن تطلب الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام أن يدعو الرؤساء التنفيذيين للمنظمات المشاركة أن يبينوا لهيئاتهم الحكومية الدولية المعنية أسباب التأخر في تنفيذ التوصيات الموجهة إليهم أو عدم تنفيذ تلك التوصيات.

The executive heads of the participating organizations should endeavour to ensure timely issuance of comments on JIU reports in order to enable the governing bodies concerned to consider these reports in a timely and more business-like manner.
وينبغي للرؤساء التنفيذيين للمنظمات المشاركة أن يسعوا إلى أن يصدروا في الوقت المناسب تعليقاتهم على تقارير الوحدة، وذلك لتمكين هيئات اﻹدارة المعنية من النظر في هذه التقارير على نحو أنسب توقيتا وأكثر كفاءة.
