Since that date, the Commission has endorsed a number of proposed revisions to the intergovernmental machinery including, in Algiers in 2001, the decision to hold joint conferences - namely Africa's Ministers of Finance and Ministers of Economic Development and Planning - on an annual basis.
8 - وأقرت اللجنة منذ ذلك التاريخ عدداً من التعديلات المقترح إدخالها على هذه الأجهزة من بينها القرار الذي اتخذته في الجزائر في عام 2001 القاضي بعقد مؤتمرات مشتركة - أي مؤتمر لوزراء المالية ولوزراء التنمية الاقتصادية الأفريقيين - وذلك مرة واحدة سنوياً .

The Assembly called upon the High Commissioner to, inter alia, continue those efforts, focusing on the contributions of cultures, as well as religious and cultural diversity, and to collaborate with other relevant international organizations in holding joint conferences designed to encourage the dialogue among civilizations and promote understanding of the universality of human rights and their implementation at various levels.
وأهابت الجمعية بالمفوضة السامية أن تقوم ضمن ما تقوم به، بمواصلة تلك الجهود مع التركيز على ما تقدمه الثقافات من إسهامات وعلى التنوع الديني والثقافي والتعاون مع المنظمات الدولية الأخرى المختصة في عقد مؤتمرات مشتركة لتشجيع الحوار بين الحضارات وكفالة تفهم الطابع العالمي لحقوق الإنسان وإعمال تلك الحقوق على مختلف المستويات.
