The Committee noted the plans for the following activities which, to the extent possible, should disseminate information on UNISPACE III:

Other objectives of UNISPACE III will be:

1400-1530 Preparation of the draft report formulating recommendations and action programmes for consideration at UNISPACE III
اعداد مشروع التقرير وصياغة التوصيات وبرامج العمل للنظر فيها في مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث

UNISPACE III had formulated the Vienna Declaration as a nucleus of a strategy to address future global challenges using space applications.
وقد صاغ مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث إعلان فيينا ليكون نواةَ استراتيجيةٍ ترمي إلى التصدي للتحديات العالمية المقبلة باستخدام التطبيقات الفضائية.

That role could be strengthened by new initiatives, as well as by continued progress in implementing the recommendations of UNISPACE III.
وأفادت بأن ذلك الدور يمكن تعزيزه بمبادرات جديدة، وكذلك بالمضي قُدما في تنفيذ توصيات مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث.

The Preparatory Committee agreed that the revised text contained in that document, together with the comments made on the text at its 1999 session, should be forwarded to UNISPACE III for consideration.
واتفقت اللجنة التحضيرية على أنه ينبغي إحالة النص المنقح كما هو وارد في تلك الوثيقة ومعه التعليقات التي وضعت على النص في دورتها لسنة ٩٩٩١، الى مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث كيما ينظر فيها.

His country, which was following the work of COPUOS with interest, had played an active role in the UNISPACE III Conference in Vienna and had welcomed the Declaration it had adopted.
وقام بلده، الذي يتابع عمل لجنة استخدام الفضاء في الأغراض السلمية، بدور نشط في مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث في فيينا ورحب بالإعلان الذي اعتمده.

39. Draft resolution A/C.4/54/L.7 was devoted to the results of UNISPACE III and was similar in format to previous resolutions on the results of other United Nations conferences.
39 - وذكر أن مشروع القرار A/C.4/54/L.7 إلى نتائج مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث ويشبه في شكله القرارات السابقة بشأن نتائج المؤتمرات الأخرى التي عقدتها الأمم المتحدة.

The United Nations Regional Preparatory Conference adopted the following recommendations to UNISPACE III:
٧ - اعتمد المؤتمر التحضيري الاقليمي التوصيات التالية الى مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث :

In accordance with General Assembly resolution 56/51, the Committee considered an item on the implementation of the recommendations of UNISPACE III.
36- وفقا لقرار الجمعية العامة 56/51، نظرت اللجنة في بند بشأن تنفيذ توصيات مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث.

Furthermore, with the adoption of the resolution on the review of UNISPACE III, adopted without a vote, Thailand welcomes the decision made by the Assembly to conduct the review at its fifty-ninth session.
وعلاوة على ذلك، وباعتماد القرار المتعلق باستعراض مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث دون تصويت، ترحب تايلند بالقرار الذي اتخذته الجمعية العامة بإجراء الاستعراض في دورتها التاسعة والخمسين.

38. The Meeting agreed that the work of its session after UNISPACE III should consider the following items:

At its forty-fourth session, in 2001, the Committee identified the recommendations of UNISPACE III that had the highest priority, noting that offers had been made by interested member States to exercise leadership in implementing some of those recommendations.
6- وحدّدت اللجنة، في دورتها الرابعة والأربعين، في عام 2001، توصيات مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث ذات الأولوية العليا؛ ونوّهت بأن دولاً أعضاء مهتمّة قد عرضت تولي القيادة فيما يتعلق بتنفيذ بعض تلك التوصيات.

At its forty-fourth session, the Committee identified the recommendations of UNISPACE III that had the highest priority, noting that offers had been made by interested member States to exercise leadership in implementing some of those recommendations.

At its forty-fourth session, the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space agreed to establish action teams composed of interested Member States in order to implement the recommendations of UNISPACE III.
2- وقد اتفقت لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية، في دورتها الرابعة والأربعين، على إنشاء أفرقة عمل تتألّف من الدول الأعضاء المهتمّة، بغية تنفيذ توصيات مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث.()

36. The representative of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs introduced the United Nations Programme on Space Applications and a summary of the UNISPACE III recommendations related to the management of natural resources.
٦٣- عرض ممثل مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة لشؤون الفضاء الخارجي برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للتطبيقات الفضائية وخلاصة لتوصيات مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث المتعلقة بادارة الموارد الطبيعية.

17. Implementation of the strategy adopted at UNISPACE III would permit rapid progress in the rational use of natural resources and would facilitate economic and social development for future generations.
17 - وذكر أن تنفيذ الاستراتيجية المعتمدة في مؤتمر اليونيسبيس الثالث سيتيح تحقيق تقدم سريع في الاستخدام الرشيد للموارد الطبيعية وتيسير التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للأجيال القادمة.
