The agreed conclusions of the Council concerning the selection of cross-cutting themes common to major international conferences and/or the contribution to an overall review of the implementation of the programme of action of a United Nations conference should be implemented.
ينبغي تنفيذ النتائج التي يعتمدها المجلس بشأن اختيار موضوعات متقاطعة مشتركة بين المؤتمرات الدولية الرئيسية و/أو بشأن اﻹسهام في إجراء استعراض شامل لتنفيذ برنامج عمل أي مؤتمر من مؤتمرات اﻷمم المتحدة.

Reaffirming also that, while each United Nations conference has its thematic unity, major United Nations conferences and summits should be viewed as interlinked and contributing to an integrated framework for the implementation of the internationally agreed development goals, including those contained in the Millennium Declaration, and to a global partnership for development,

In accordance with General Assembly resolution 56/119, each United Nations congress on crime prevention and criminal justice should adopt a single declaration containing recommendations derived from the deliberations of the high-level segment, the round tables and the workshops, to be submitted to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice for its consideration.
12- وفقا لقرار الجمعية العامة 56/119، ينبغي أن يعتمد كل مؤتمر من مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية إعلانا واحدا يتضمّن التوصيات المنبثقة من مداولات الجزء الرفيع المستوى واجتماعات الموائد المستديرة وحلقات العمل، ويقدَّم إلى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية لكي تنظر فيه.

وعليه ينبغي أن يعمد المجلس كل سنة في إطار الجزء المتعلق بالتنسيق من دورته إلى إجراء استعراض للموضوعات المحورية المشتركة والمتداخلة بين المؤتمرات الدولية الرئيسية و/أو إلى الاسهام في استعراض عام لتنفيذ برنامج عمل مؤتمر من مؤتمرات اﻷمم المتحدة.
