In assessing the political situation resulting from the 28 June 2009 events in Honduras, the Presidents were unanimous in recognizing the merits of the mediation undertaken on 9 April 2011 by President Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías of Venezuela and President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia, in conjunction with President Porfirio Lobo Sosa and in permanent consultation with José Manuel Zelaya Rosales, former President of Honduras.
ولدى تقييم الوضع السياسي الناجم عن الأحداث التي وقعت يوم 28 حزيران/يونيه 2009 في هندوراس، أجمع القادة على الاعتراف بمزايا جهود الوساطة التي بذلها في 9 نيسان/أبريل الماضي هوغو رافائيل شافيز فرياس، رئيس فنزويلا، وخوان مانويل سانتوس، رئيس كولومبيا، إلى جانب الرئيس بورفيريو لوبو سوسا وبالتشاور الوثيق مع رئيس هندوراس السابق، خوسيه مانويل سيلايا روساليس.
