The Jordanian Constitution is a key document which guarantees protection of the full range of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights and freedoms. Its provisions are consistent with human rights principles and standards and the international instruments in which these rights are enshrined.

OHCHR participated in the launch of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) manual, " A Human Rights - Based Approach to Programming: Practical Information and Training Materials " , which provides tools to link human rights principles and standards to programming in the areas of, inter alia, sexual and reproductive health, gender, and youth.
