Lastly, Canada reaffirmed its strong support for establishing internationally recognized nuclear-weapon-free zones on the basis of arrangements freely arrived at among the States of the region concerned. The Conference should actively promote the creation of other nuclear-weapon-free zones, especially in regions of tension such as the Middle East and South Asia.
93 - واختتم حديثه قائلا إن كندا تؤكد من جديد تأييدها القوي لإنشاء مناطق خالية من الأسلحة النووية مُعتَرَف بها دوليا وذلك على أساس ترتيبات يتم التوصل إليها بحريَّة فيمـا بين دول المنطقة المعنية؛ وأنه ينبغي أن يعمل المؤتمر بنشاط على تشجيع إنشاء مناطق أخرى خالية من الأسلحة النووية، وخاصة في مناطق التوتُّر مثل منطقة الشرق الأوسط ومنطقة جنوب آسيا.
