وأضافت أن مدونة قواعد السلوك لأصحاب الولايات في إطار الإجراءات الخاصة ستسهم في تأمين شفافية عملية الاستعراض وجودة التقارير النهائية، التي ستقوم على أساس حجج موضوعية وستكون مكيفة وفقا للولايات الممنوحة.

His delegation welcomed the adoption of the Code of Conduct for Special Procedures Mandate-holders and supported the process of review, rationalization and streamlining of mandates in order to prevent duplication of effort and to give more impetus to high priority issues relating to economic, social and cultural rights.
وأضاف أن وفده يرحب باعتماد مدونة قواعد السلوك لأصحاب الولايات في إطار الإجراءات الخاصة، ويؤيد عملية استعراض الولايات، وترشيدها، وتنسيقها لتجنب ازدواج الجهود وإعطاء حافز أكبر للمسائل ذات الأولوية العالية المتعلقة بالحقوق الاقتصادية، والاجتماعية، والثقافية.
