C. ACC Inter-Agency Committee on Women and Gender Equality 29. Following the fourth session of the ACC Inter-agency Committee on Women and Gender Equality (23-26 February 1999), inter-sessional work on a number of topics was conducted by the Committee's task managers.
29 - بعد انعقاد الدورة الرابعة للجنة المشتركة بين الوكالات المعنية بالمرأة والمساواة بين الجنسين التابعة للجنة التنسيق الإدارية (في الفترة من 23 إلى 26 شباط/فبراير 1999)، تولى مديرو المهام باللجنة إنجاز أعمال اللجنة في فترة ما بين الدورتين فيما يتعلق بعدد من المواضيع.

(i) The Council could request that, with the completion of the work of the task forces, the coordinated follow-up to conferences be ensured by ACC and its subsidiary machinery and that collaboration among organizations of the system on certain cross-cutting themes of conferences be maintained through a network approach using task managers and information technology.

In 1993, when basic decisions were made by the Inter-Agency Committee on its methods of work, it was agreed that the Committee's task managers would " prepare, in collaboration with concerned organizations, coordinated inputs for the consolidated analytical reports of the Secretary-General which will focus on common United Nations system strategies for the implementation of Agenda 21 " (ACC/1993/24, para. 15).
