The debate took as its starting point a note by the Secretariat, entitled " Settlement of dispute clauses " (A/CN.4/623).
واتُّخذت مذكرة الأمانة العامة المعنونة " أحكام تسوية المنازعات " (A/CN.4/623) منطلقا للمناقشة().

(a) To update the note by the Secretariat, entitled " Control and limitation of documentation " (A/58/CRP.7) in the light of the provisions of the present resolution;
(أ) استكمال مذكرة الأمانة العامة المعنونة " مراقبة الوثائق والحد منها " (A/58/CRP.7) في ضوء أحكام هذا القرار؛

(b) note by the Secretariat entitled " Illustrative agenda of the General Assembly " (A/58/CRP.4) aligned the items of the agenda according to the priorities of the medium-term plan of the Organization for the period 2002-2005.
(ب) مذكرة الأمانة العامة المعنونة " جدول الأعمال التوضيحي للجمعية العامة " (A/58/CRP.4) رتبت بنود جدول الأعمال حسب أولويات الخطة المتوسطة الأجل للمنظمة للفترة 2002-2005.

(e) note by the Secretariat entitled " Control and limitation of documentation " (A/58/CRP.7) responded to the request by Member States to control and limit documentation.
(هـ) مذكرة الأمانة العامة المعنونة " مراقبة الوثائق والحد منها " (A/58/CRP.7) استجابت لطلب الدول الأعضاء الداعي إلى مراقبة الوثائق والحد منها.

1. Recalling section B, paragraph 2, of the annex to General Assembly resolution 58/126 of 19 December 2003, and having reviewed the note by the Secretariat entitled " Options for the rescheduling of the Main Committees of the General Assembly " , it is decided that:
1 - بالإشارة إلى الفقرة 2 من الجزء باء من مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة 58/126 المؤرخ 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003، وبعد استعراض مذكرة الأمانة العامة المعنونة " خيارات لإعادة تحديد مواعيد اجتماعات اللجان الرئيسية للجمعية العامة " ()، تقرر ما يلي:

1. The Chairperson drew attention to the allocation of agenda items to the Committee, as contained in document A/C.6/63/1, and to the note by the Secretariat entitled " Organization of work " (A/C.6/63/L.1), in particular paragraphs 7 to 9 concerning the establishment of working groups.
1 - الرئيس: وجه الانتباه إلى إحالة بنود جدول الأعمال إلى اللجنة، على النحو الوارد في الوثيقة A/C.6/63/1، وإلى مذكرة الأمانة العامة المعنونة " تنظيم الأعمال " (A/C.6/63/L.1)، وعلى وجه الخصوص الفقرات من 7 إلى 9 المتعلقة بإنشاء الأفرقة العاملة.

Before proceeding further, I would like to draw the attention of members to a note by the Secretariat entitled " Situation reports of the First Committee on agenda items 81 to 96 " , which has been circulated in English only as document A/C.1/63/INF/3.
وقبل أن استطرد، أود أن أسترعي انتباه الأعضاء إلى مذكرة الأمانة العامة المعنونة " تقارير اللجنة الأولى عن حالة البنود من 81 إلى 96 من جدول الأعمال " ، التي جرى تعميمها باللغة الإنكليزية فقط بوصفها الوثيقة A/C.1/63/INF/3.

11. The Chair drew attention to the proposed timetable for the Committee's work, contained in paragraphs 3 to 6 of the note by the Secretariat entitled " Organization of work " (A/C.6/69/L.1).
