13. On 29 March 1996, the Committee received, through its Secretary, an application from Ms. Pappas requesting a review of Judgement No. 740 rendered by the United Nations Administrative Tribunal on 22 November 1995 in the case of Pappas against the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
١٣ - وفي ٢٩ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٦، تلقت اللجنة عن طريق أمينها، طلبا من السيدة باباس تطلب فيه مراجعة الحكم رقم ٧٤٠ الصادر عن المحكمة اﻹدارية لﻷمم المتحدة في ٢٢ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥ في قضية باباس ضد اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة.

After a decision by the Tribunal, either party may request a revision of Judgement on the basis, for example, of new facts.

On 3 April 1996, the Committee received, through its Secretary, an application from Mr. Museibes requesting a review of Judgement No. 737 rendered by the United Nations Administrative Tribunal on 21 November 1995 in the case of Museibes against the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.

On 20 March 1996, the Committee received, through its Secretary, an application from Mr. Huzeima requesting a review of Judgement No. 745 rendered by the United Nations Administrative Tribunal on 22 November 1995 in the case of Huzeima against the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.

8. The application from Ms. Beg dated 8 November 1995, requesting a review of Judgement No. 702 rendered by the United Nations Administrative Tribunal in the case of Beg v. the Secretary-General of the United Nations was received by the Secretary of the Committee on 15 November 1995.

As argued by the State party, and confirmed on a review of the judgement itself, it would appear that the word " disgraceful " was considered by the Court as a " mild " translation of the word uttered.

8.5 Counsel explains that the Committee is not being asked to evaluate the facts and evidence established in the case, a matter which in any case is beyond its jurisdiction, as the State affirms, but merely to ascertain whether the review of the sentence which convicted the author met the requirements of article 14, paragraph 5 of the Covenant.
8-5 ومضى المحامي شارحا إنه لم يطلب من اللجنة استعراض الوقائع والأدلة المتصلة بالقضية، فهذه مسألة لا تدخل ضمن صلاحياتها، وهذا ما أكدت عليه الدولة أيضا، وإنما المطلوب منها هو مجرد التأكيد على ما إذا كان في مراجعة الحكم الذي أدين به صاحب البلاغ استجابة لمتطلبات الفقرة 5 من المادة 14 من العهد.

This cannot possibly be interpreted as a renunciation of the right to a sentence being reviewed in its entirety.
