UNFPA has recommended that the United Nations Controller facilitate a meeting among all interested parties, in particular the European Court of Auditors and the Panel of External Auditors of the United Nations, the Specialized Agencies and the International Atomic Energy Agency, to reach definitive agreement on the way forward.

(b) The Executive Director shall sign the financial statements following certification and submit them to the United Nations Board of External Auditors not later than 30 April of the year following yearthe end of the 2010-2011 biennium.
