The second review also requested the GEF to report on its responses to the second review of the financial mechanism and to a recommendation in OPS 2 that a dialogue be initiated in order to implement more effectively the guidance provided by the COP to the GEF.
9- كما طلب الاستعراض الثاني إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية أن يقدم تقريراً عن استجاباته للاستعراض الثاني للآلية المالية ولتوصية صدرت عن الدراسة الثانية للأداء الشامل للمرفق تقضي بضرورة الشروع في إجراء حوار لتنفيذ توجيهات مؤتمر الأطراف إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية بمزيد من الفعالية.

Decision 4/CP.9 requested the GEF to operationalize the GEF's new strategic priority in the climate change focal area as soon as possible.

It also requested the GEF to provide financial resources to implement the capacity-building framework annexed to decision 2/CP.7.
كما طُلب في هذا المقرر إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية أن يوفر الموارد المالية لتنفيذ إطار بناء القدرات المرفق بالمقرر 2/م أ-7.

5. Further reiterates its request to the Global Environment Facility to make continued efforts to provide adequate financial resources to support the implementation of capacity-building activities consistent with decision 2/CP.7;

11. Also requests the Global Environment Facility to include, in its reports to the Conference of the Parties, information on steps it has taken to implement this decision, for consideration by the Conference of the Parties at subsequent sessions;

In addition, the GEF was requested to provide an annual report on its progress in support of the implementation of the framework in its reports to the COP.
