Considering the amount of information provided by the author, both in terms of testimonies and medical and expertise reports, the Committee considered that the author had sufficiently substantiated, for purposes of admissibility, that the treatment he was subjected to in detention, and the trial that he had faced raised issues under articles 7, 9, 10 and 14 of the Covenant, which should be examined by the Committee on the merits.
