The Meeting reaffirmed the need to strengthen the role and capacity of the United Nations system to assist developing countries' efforts to achieve the internationally-agreed development goals, particularly goal number 8 of the Millennium Development Goal which calls for substantial increase in the development assistance to achieve these goals.
124 - أكد الاجتماع مجددا ضرورة تقوية دور منظومة الأمم المتحدة وقدرتها على مساعدة البلدان النامية في جهودها الرامية إلى تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا، ولا سيما الهدف الثامن من الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية التي تدعو إلى زيادة مهمة في المساعدة من أجل التنمية تحقيقا لهذه الأهداف.
