(a) Strengthen its efforts to promote, within the family, schools, and other institutions, respect for the views of children, especially girls, and to facilitate their participation in all matters affecting them;
(أ) أن تعزز جهودها الرامية إلى التشجيع، داخل الأسرة وفي المدارس والمؤسسات الأخرى، على احترام آراء الأطفال، ولا سيما الفتيات، وأن تيسر مشاركتهم في جميع المسائل التي تمسهم؛

(a) Promote, within the family, the schools, institutions, as well as in judicial and administrative proceedings, respect for the views of children, especially girls, and facilitate their participation in all matters affecting them, in accordance with article 12 of the Convention;

It also recommended that the Government take measures to promote respect for the views of children, especially girls, belonging to minorities and indigenous peoples and facilitate their participation in all matters affecting them.
وأوصت أيضاً بأن تتخذ الحكومة تدابير لتعزيز احترام آراء الأطفال المنتمين إلى أقليات وإلى الشعوب الأصلية، لا سيما البنات منهم، وتيسير مشاركتهم في جميع المسائل التي تمسهم(90).

(a) Continue to promote and facilitate within the family, the school, institutions, the courts, administrative bodies and the Basic People's Congresses respect for the views of children and their participation in all matters affecting them, in accordance with article 12 of the Convention;
(أ) أن تواصل التشجيع على مراعاة آراء الطفل في الأسرة والمدرسة والمؤسسات وفي المحاكم والهيئات الإدارية والمؤتمرات الشعبية الأساسية وكذلك على مشاركتهم في جميع المسائل التي تمسهم، وأن تُيَسِّر ذلك بموجب المادة 12 من الاتفاقية؛

CRC made a similar observation in 2006 and recommended that Kiribati, inter alia, strengthen its efforts to promote within the family, communities, schools and other institutions respect for the views of children, especially girls, and to facilitate their participation in all matters affecting them.
وقدمت لجنة حقوق الطفل ملاحظة ماثلة في عام 2006 وأوصت كيريباس بجملة من الأمور، منها تكثيف جهودها الرامية إلى تعزيز احترام آراء الأطفال، لا سيما الفتيات، وتسهيل مشاركتهم في جميع المسائل التي تمسّهم، وذلك في كنف الأسرة وفي المدارس وغيرها من المؤسسات(75).

417. In the light of article 12 of the Convention, the Committee recommends that the State party continue to strengthen its efforts to promote respect for the views of all children and to facilitate their participation in all matters affecting them within the family, in schools, in institutions, and in judicial procedures, including procedures in the religious and sharia courts, in local communities and in society at large.
