In accordance with paragraphs 35 and 44 of the terms of reference of the Review Mechanism, thematic reports have been prepared in order to compile the most common and relevant information on successes, good practices, challenges and observations contained in the country review reports, organized by theme, for submission to the Implementation Review Group, to serve as the basis for its analytical work.

4. By the same decision the COP invited Parties and civil society, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and research institutions to submit to the secretariat success stories of field activities on synergies, and requested the secretariat to prepare a compilation of the submissions received and to submit it to the COP at its eighth session.
4- ودعا مؤتمر الأطراف بنفس المقرر، الأطراف والمجتمع المدني والمنظمات غير الحكومية ومؤسسات البحوث إلى أن تقدم إلى الأمانة معلومات عن التجارب الناجحة التي حققتها الأنشطة الميدانية بشأن أوجه التآزر، وطلب إلى الأمانة أن تعد تجميعاً للعروض الواردة وأن تقدمه إلى مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثامنة.

9. Invites Parties and civil society, NGOs and research institutions to submit success stories of field activities on synergies to the secretariat, and also requests the secretariat to prepare a compilation of the submissions received and submit it to the COP at its eighth session as an information document;
9- يدعو الأطراف والمجتمع المدني، والمنظمات غير الحكومية ومؤسسات الأبحاث إلى تقديم معلومات عن التجارب الناجحة في الأنشطة الميدانية بشأن أوجه التآزر إلى الأمانة، ويرجو أيضاً من الأمانة إعداد تجميع للعروض الواردة وتقديمه إلى مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثامنة كوثيقة معلومات؛

(b) Call on Governments to continue their support to the Commission on Sustainable Development by organizing inter-sessional activities, making available to the Secretariat broader dissemination success stories, best practice and case studies and by contributing to the Commission's trust fund in support of its work, as requested at the Commission's thirteenth session;
(ب) دعوة الحكومات إلى مواصلة تقديم الدعم للجنة التنمية المستدامة عن طريق تنظيم أنشطة خلال الفترة الفاصلة بين الدورتين توفر للأمانة معلومات عن التجارب الناجحة وأفضل الممارسات ودراسات حالات إفرادية لنشرها على نطاق واسع، وعن طريق المساهمة في الصندوق الاستئماني للجنة من أجل دعم عملها، على النحو المطلوب في الدورة الثالثة عشرة للجنة؛

To create and develop capacities for identifying technology gaps and for the acquisition, adaptation and improvement of technologies by providing information on successful experiences and worldwide best practices in the area;
:: إيجاد وتطوير القدرات من أجل استبانة الفجوات التكنولوجية ومن أجل اقتناء التكنولوجيات وتكييفها وتحسينها عن طريق تقديم معلومات عن التجارب الناجحة وأفضل الممارسات على نطاق العالم في هذا المجال؛
