(i) To request the Secretary-General to designate as Secretary-General of the World Conference the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, who, in that capacity, would assume the main responsibility for the preparations for the Conference;
' ١ ' تطلب من اﻷمين العام أن يعين مفوضة اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الانسان أمينة عامة للمؤتمر العالمي لتضطلع بهذه الصفة بالمسؤولية الرئيسية عن اﻷعمال التحضيرية للمؤتمر؛

(ii) To the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to take duly into account the repeated appeals of the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council for the establishment of a mechanism within the Office of the High Commissioner as a focal point for coordinating all the activities of the Third Decade before they are carried out by the United Nations;
' ٢ ' إلى مفوضة اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الانسان بأن تضع في اعتبارها على النحو المناسب المناشدات التي كررتها الجمعية العامة والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ﻹنشاء آلية في المفوضية تكون بمثابة مركز لتنسيق جميع أنشطة العقد الثالث قبل اضطلاع اﻷمم المتحدة بها؛

There will be a meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee of the Group of 77 and the Non-Aligned Movement (Millennium Assembly; briefing by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson) on Thursday, 4 November 1999, at 3 p.m. in Conference Room 7.
عن رأي اﻷمانة العامة لﻷمم المتحدة سيُعقد اجتماع للجنة التنسيق المشتركة لمجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ وحركة عدم الانحياز )الجمعية اﻷلفية: جلسة إعلامية تعقدها السيدة ماري روبنسون، مفوضة اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الانسان ( يوم الخميس، ٤ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٩، في الساعة ٠٠/١٥ بغرفة الاجتماع ٧.

(b) To the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to take duly into account the repeated appeals of the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council for the establishment of a mechanism within the Office of the High Commissioner as a focal point for coordinating all the activities of the Third Decade before they are carried out by the United Nations.
)ب( إلى مفوضة اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الانسان بأن تضع في اعتبارها على النحو المناسب المناشدات التي كررتها الجمعية العامة والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ﻹنشاء آلية في المفوضية تكون بمثابة مركز لتنسيق جميع أنشطة العقد الثالث قبل اضطلاع اﻷمم المتحدة بها.

1. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is greatly encouraged by the fact that Member States have agreed to develop specific instruments on illegal trafficking and transporting of migrants (the Migrant Protocol) and on trafficking of persons (the Trafficking Protocol) under the auspices of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
١ - تشعر مفوضة اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الانسان بقدر كبير من الارتياح لكون الدول اﻷعضاء اتفقت على صوغ صكين محددين أحدهما بشأن الاتجار بالمهاجرين ونقلهم بصورة غير مشروعة )بروتوكول المهاجرين( واﻵخر بشأن الاتجار باﻷشخاص )بروتوكول الاتجار باﻷشخاص( في اطار اتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية .
