7. Mr. Silwamba (Zambia), speaking as Rapporteur of the Committee on Information, introduced the report on its thirty-sixth session (A/69/21), during which it had endorsed the application of Iraq for membership of that Committee.

10. Mr. Muhith (Bangladesh), Rapporteur of the Committee on Information, introducing the Committee's report on its twenty-seventh session (A/60/21), said that, with the inclusion of Cape Verde, Iceland, Luxembourg, Madagascar and Qatar, the membership of the Committee had expanded to a total of 107.
