UNODC has strengthened the rule of law through its support for criminal justice and prison reform and its work to combat kidnapping.

نشر دليل مكافحة الاختطاف. قُدّم تدريب لموظفين معنيين بإنفاذ القوانين ومدعين عامين وموظفين في السلطة القضائية.

Building on the responses provided by Member States to the questionnaire, and with the aim of identifying best practices in the fight against kidnapping to assist in the provision of technical assistance to States, a meeting was convened to consult with experts from outside the Secretariat.

In that connection, she referred to the promotion of the Counter-Kidnapping Manual, which had been presented and made available to Member States at the fifteenth session of the Commission.

The Counter-Kidnapping Manual has formed a centrepiece of the UNODC response to support Member States' efforts to combat kidnapping.

In that connection, the work of UNODC on the matter, including the launch of the Counter-Kidnapping Manual, was highly appreciated.
وفي هذا الصدد، أُعرب عن بالغ التقدير لعمل المكتب بشأن هذه المسألة، بما في ذلك إصدار دليل مكافحة الاختطاف.

Counter-Kidnapping UNODC launched the Counter-Kidnapping Manual in 2006, at the fifteenth session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

The Office has convened a series of expert group meetings on countering kidnapping, resulting in the drafting of a good practice guide for Member States, to be published at the end of 2005.

Mexico indicated that an agreement had been signed in 2001 to improve collaboration between both federal- and state-level prosecutorial authorities in fighting kidnapping.
وأشارت المكسيك الى أنه قد تم توقيع اتفاق في عام 2001 لتحسين التعاون بين سلطات النيابة العامة على المستوى الاتحادي وعلى مستوى الولايات في مكافحة الاختطاف.
