In that connection, the Group commended the Global Coordination Bureau of the Least Developed Countries for its efforts to ensure that the International Migrants Remittances Observatory for Least Developed Countries began operations at the earliest opportunity.
وأعرب في هذا الصدد عن ثناء المجموعة على مكتب التنسيق العالمي لأقل البلدان نموا على ما يبذله من جهود لضمان بدء تشغيل المرصد الدولي لتحويلات المهاجرين إلى أقل البلدان نموا، في أقرب فرصة ممكنة.

The Preparatory Committee also recommends to the Conference, without prejudice to further decisions and without creating a precedent, to elect to the Bureau as ex officio members, those States members of the Global Coordinating Bureau of the Group of Least Developed Countries which are not nominated by their respective regional groups.
وتوصي اللجنة التحضيرية أيضا، بأن يقوم المؤتمر، دون المساس بأي قرارات أخرى ودون أن يخلق بذلك سابقة، بانتخاب الدول الأعضاء في مكتب التنسيق العالمي لمجموعة أقل البلدان نموا التي لم تقم المجموعات الإقليمية المنتمية إليها تلك الدول بترشيح أي منها.

12. At the same meeting, the Conference was informed that, in accordance with a decision taken on organizational arrangements contained in document A/CONF.219/1/Add.1, those State members of the Global Coordination Bureau of the Group of Least Developed Countries who had not been nominated as Vice-Presidents by their respective regional groups were elected to the Bureau of the Conference as ex officio members.

4. The Committee decided that Turkey, host country to the Conference, and members of the Global Coordinating Bureau of the Group of Least Developed Countries, namely Benin, Nepal, Solomon Islands and the Sudan, would be fully associated with the work of the Bureau as ex officio members.
4 - وقررت اللجنة أن يكون كل من تركيا، البلد المضيف للمؤتمر، وأعضاء مكتب التنسيق العالمي لمجموعة أقل البلدان نموا، وهم بنن وجزر سليمان والسودان ونيبال، مشاركين بالكامل في أعمال المكتب بوصفهم أعضاء بحكم المنصب.

Recognizing that effective least developed country participation in the Istanbul Conference is essential, the Preparatory Committee encourages regional groups to nominate among 15 Vice-Presidents of the Conference, as envisaged in rule 6 (b), States that are members of the Global Coordinating Bureau of the Group of Least Developed Countries.
إن اللجنة التحضيرية إذ تسلم بأن مشاركة أقل البلدان نموا على نحو فعال في مؤتمر اسطنبول أمر لا غنى عنه، تشجع المجموعات الإقليمية على أن تسمى من بين الدول التي سينتخب من وفودها 15 نائبا للرئيس حسبما تنص عليه المادة 6 (ب)، دولا أعضاء في مكتب التنسيق العالمي لمجموعة أقل البلدان نموا.
