The Committee was informed that the redeployment of the function and post from the Joint Mission Analysis Centre had been proposed in view of the fact that the Office of the Chief of Staff is considered a better location for those functions, as they cover a wider spectrum of activities and involve interaction with actors beyond the Mission itself.
