Nevertheless, it was clear that indiscriminate granting of observer status in the General Assembly would impede its work and would therefore not be in the interest of the Organization.
بيد أنه من الواضح أن منح مركز المراقب لدى الجمعية العامة دون تمييز، من شأنه أن يعيقها عن أعمالها وهو بالتالي ليس في صالح المنظمة.

In this respect, we welcome the initiative taken by the Permanent Mission of the United States to establish a working group in the Sixth Committee to consider the question of criteria for granting observer status in the General Assembly.
