The sixth session of the Committee on Enforced Disappearances was opened by the Director of the Human Rights Treaties Division, who, on behalf of the High Commissioner, welcomed the members of Committee to the sixth session and congratulated the Committee for the successful results of its excellent work since its previous session.

٤- وأوضح أن أحداثا مختلفة تهم اللجنة قد وقعت منذ دورتها السابقة.

The Commission expressed its appreciation to the secretariat for the activities undertaken since its previous session and emphasized the importance of the training and technical assistance programme for the unification and harmonization efforts that were at the heart of the Commission's mandate.

The Subcommittee noted with appreciation that, since its previous session, additional contributions for 2001 had been offered by various Member States and organizations and had been acknowledged in the report of the Expert (A/AC.105/773, paras. 37 and 38).
29- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية مع التقدير أنه منذ دورتها السابقة قدّمت دول أعضاء ومنظمات شتّى تبرعات اضافية لعام 2001، ورد ذكرها في تقرير الخبير (A/AC.105/773، الفقرتان 37 و38).

However, the Commission also noted that those efforts had not been completed yet and that two members of its secretariat who had left since its last session had not been replaced yet.
غير أن اللجنة لاحظت أيضا أن تلك الجهود لم تكتمل بعد وأنه لم يتم بعد إحلال عضوين جديدين في أمانتها محل العضوين اللذين غادراها منذ دورتها السابقة.

31. The Subcommittee noted with appreciation that, since its previous session, additional contributions for 2000 had been offered by various Member States and organizations and had been acknowledged in the report of the Expert (A/AC.105/750, paras. 34-35).
31- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية بارتياح أنه منذ دورتها السابقة قدّمت دول أعضاء ومنظمات شتّى تبرعات اضافية لعام 2000 ورد ذكرها في تقرير الخبير (A/AC.105/750، الفقرتان 34 و35).

31- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية مع التقدير أنه منذ دورتها السابقة قدمت دول أعضاء ومنظمـات شتى موارد إضافيـة لعـام 2002 ورد ذكرهـا في تقريــر الخبـير (في الفقرتـين 41 و42 من الوثيقة A/AC.105/790 و Corr.1).
