In 2010, it endorsed the gender balance strategy and action plan for the Secretariat prepared by the Focal Point for Women in consultation with the Office of Human Resources Management.

16. The Focal Point for Women continues to report directly to the Assistant Secretary-General for Human Resources Management and to function as an integral part of his immediate office and the Office of Human Resources Management as a whole.
