34. Calls upon Member States, the United Nations system and other relevant stakeholders to support national efforts aimed at responding rapidly to the food crises currently occurring across Africa, in particular in the Horn of Africa and in the Sahel, and expresses its deep concern that funding shortfalls are forcing the World Food Programme to cut operations across different regions, including southern Africa;
34- يهيب بالدول الأعضاء ومنظومة الأمم المتحدة وغيرها من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى دعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى التصدي على وجه السرعة لأزمة الغذاء التي تشهدها حالياً أفريقيا بأسرها، خاصة في القرن الأفريقي ومنطقة الساحل، ويعرب عن بالغ قلقه من أن نقص التمويل يجبر برنامج الأغذية العالمي على خفض عملياته في مختلف المناطق، بما فيها الجنوب الأفريقي؛

Responding to the appeal of the United Nations General Assembly at its sixty-fourth session (resolution 64/201), inviting States Parties to the Convention, observers and other relevant stakeholders to organize activities aimed at implementing the Decade,
وتجاوباً مع نداء الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الرابعة والستين (القرار 64/201)، الذي دعت فيه الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية والمراقبين وغيرهم من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى تنظيم أنشطة الغرض منها تنفيذ العقد،

5. Additionally, decision 2/COP.9 invited affected country Parties and other relevant stakeholders to use the alignment guidelines as the reference tool in the process of aligning their action programmes and other relevant implementation activities relating to the Convention.
5- وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، يدعو المقرر 2/م أ-9 البلدان الأطراف المتأثرة وغيرها من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى استخدام المبادئ التوجيهية للمواءمة() كأداة مرجعية في عملية مواءمة برامج عملها والأنشطة التنفيذية الأخرى المتصلة بالاتفاقية.

Invites Parties, observers and other relevant stakeholders to organize activities to observe the Decade with the aim of raising awareness of the causes of and solutions to ongoing land degradation and desertification in the framework of the 10-year strategic plan and framework to enhance the implementation of the Convention (2008 - 2018);
2- يدعو الأطراف والمراقبين وغيرهم من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى تنظيم أنشطة للاحتفال بالعقد تهدف إلى إذكاء الوعي بالأسباب والحلول الممكنة لمشكلة استمرار تدهور الأراضي والتصحر، وذلك في إطار الخطة وإطار العمل الاستراتيجيين للسنوات العشر من أجل تعزيز تنفيذ الاتفاقية (2008-2018)؛

The Working Group draws the attention of States, non-governmental organizations, families and other relevant stakeholders to general or specific aspects of the Declaration, recommends ways of overcoming obstacles to the realization of the Declaration and discusses with representatives of States, non-governmental organizations, families and other relevant stakeholders how to solve specific problems in the light of the Declaration.
6- وهو يلفت انتباه الدول والمنظمات غير الحكومية والأسر وغيرها من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى جوانب عامّة أو محدّدة في الإعلان، ويوصي باعتماد سبل لتذليل العقبات التي تعترض إنفاذ الإعلان، ويناقش مع ممثّلي الدول والمنظمات غير الحكومية والأسر وسائر أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين طرائق حلّ مشاكل معيّنة على ضوء الإعلان.

Invites all Member States, the funds, programmes and agencies of the United Nations system, the Bretton Woods institutions, civil society, the private sector and other relevant stakeholders to support the programmes and activities of the United Nations Alliance in its mission to promote sustainable rural development, consistent with relevant resolutions and decisions of the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council;
5 - يدعو جميع الدول الأعضاء وصناديق منظومة الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها ووكالاتها ومؤسسات بريتون وودز والمجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص وغير ذلك من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى دعم البرامج والأنشطة التي يضطلع بها تحالف الأمم المتحدة في مهمته الرامية إلى التـرويـج للتنمية الريفية المستدامة، بما يتفق مع قرارات ومقررات الجمعية العامة والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ذات الصلة؛

9. Invites Member States, the United Nations system, the Bretton Woods institutions, regional development banks and other relevant stakeholders to support, financially and technically, in a coordinated manner, the efforts of developing countries in capacity-building for microcredit and microfinance institutions to expand their products and services, including by improving their policy and regulatory framework;
9 - تدعو الدول الأعضاء ومنظومة الأمم المتحدة ومؤسسات بريتون وودز ومصارف التنمية الإقليمية وغيرها من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى تقديم دعم مالي وتقني منسق للجهود التي تبذلها البلدان النامية في بناء قدرات مؤسسات الائتمانات البالغة الصغر والتمويل البالغ الصغر لتوسيع نطاق منتجاتها وخدماتها، بوسائل منها تحسين سياساتها وإطارها التنظيمي؛

3 - تدعو الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية والمراقبين وغيرهم من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى تنظيم أنشطة للاحتفال بالعقد بهدف التوعية بالأسباب الكامنة وراء استمرار تدهور الأراضي والتصحر وإيجاد الحلول اللازمة لذلك في إطار الخطة وإطار العمل الاستراتيجيين لفترة العشر سنوات لتعزيز تنفيذ الاتفاقية (2008-2018)(5)؛

2. Invites Parties, international organizations and agencies, scientific institutions and networks, and other relevant stakeholders to support and cooperate with the secretariat in improving knowledge management for the Convention in support of the implementation of the 10-year strategic plan and framework to enhance the implementation of the Convention (2008 - 2018) (The Strategy), adopted by decision 3/COP.8;
2- يدعو الأطراف، والمنظمات والوكالات الدولية، والمؤسسات والشبكات العلمية وغيرها من أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى دعم الأمانة والتعاون معها في تحسين إدارة المعارف في إطار الاتفاقية، دعماً لتنفيذ الخطة وإطار العمل الاستراتيجيين للسنوات العشر من أجل تعزيز تنفيذ الاتفاقية (2008-2018) (الاستراتيجية)، اللذين اعتُمدا بموجب المقرر 3/م أ-8؛
