Reminds all agencies of the United Nations system to take note of and respond to article 42 of the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and, as a matter of priority, directly integrate relevant provisions of the Declaration into their policies, programmes and strategies.

21. The representative of Finland proposed alternative language for article 45 of the draft declaration based on article 8, paragraph 4, of the Declaration on the Rights of Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic, Religious and Linguistic Minorities (Minorities Declaration) as a further means of dealing with the issue of the territorial integrity of States.

وتنص الفقرة ٦ من إعلان حقوق اﻷشخاص المتخلفين عقليا)٢٢( على حق الشخص المتخلف عقليا، إذا ما لوحق قضائياً بسبب أية جريمة، في أن يُقاضى حسب اﻷصول القانونية ومع المراعاة التامة لدرجة مسؤوليته العقلية.
