The Government of Austria would like to recall that, according to article 28, paragraph 2, of the Convention as well as customary international law as codified in the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, a reservation incompatible with the object and purpose of a treaty shall not be permitted.
وتود حكومة النمسا أن تشير إلى أنه وفقا للفقرة 2 من المادة 28 من الاتفاقية وكذلك وفقا للقانون الدولي العرفي المدون باتفاقية فيينا لقانون المعاهدات، لا يسمح بإبداء أي تحفظ ينافي موضوع المعاهدة وغرضها.

70. The Committee urges the State party to ensure that its legislation on adoption is in full conformity with article 21 of the Convention and also that children of Roma origin are not discriminated against in the adoption process.
70- تحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على ضمان أن يكون تشريعها المتعلق بالتبني متمشياً بالكامل مع أحكام المادة 21 من الاتفاقية وكذلك ألا يتعرض الأطفال من أصل الروما للتمييز في عملية التبني.

This part should describe the existing penal legislation implementing article 4 of the Convention, as well as the available remedies against any acts of racial discrimination, implementing article 6 of the Convention, and provide examples of complaints and statistics about such remedies.

In accordance with article 12 of the Convention as well as with the Beijing Platform for Action, it was urgent that the State party should decriminalize abortion, which would also contribute to lowering the maternal mortality rate.

The document also contains a list of those States parties that had deposited with the Secretary-General instruments of acceptance of the amendment to article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention, as well as those that had signed and ratified the Optional Protocol to the Convention.

The purpose of training activities was to promote a better understanding of article 76 of the Convention as well as of the Guidelines, in particular taking into account the needs of developing States, in order to assist those States in the preparation of their submissions to the Commission.

545. The situation in relation to the administration of juvenile justice, and in particular its lack of compatibility with articles 37, 39 and 40 of the Convention, as well as with other relevant international standards, is a matter of concern to the Committee.
٥٤٥ - ومن دواعي قلق اللجنة أيضا الحالة فيما يتصل بإدارة قضاء اﻷحداث، وبخاصة الافتقار إلى الاتساق مع المواد ٧٣ و٩٣ و٠٤ من الاتفاقية وكذلك مع المعايير الدولية اﻷخرى ذات الصلة.

1066. The Committee is concerned about the administration of juvenile justice, and in particular its compatibility with articles 37, 39 and 40 of the Convention, as well as with other relevant international standards.
١٠٦٦- ويساور اللجنة القلـــق إزاء حالة إدارة شؤون قضاء اﻷحداث وبخاصة مدى توافقه مع المواد ٧٣ و ٩٣ و ٠٤ من الاتفاقية وكذلك مع سائر المعايير الدولية ذات الصلة.

7.1 Concerning the merits of the communication, the State party recalls the text of article 3 of the Convention, as well as the Committee’s jurisprudence in this respect.

It is important that coastal States fully abide by the requirements of article 76 of the Convention, as well as other applicable norms of international law, in making their submissions to the Commission on the establishment of the outer limits of their continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles.
ومن الأهمية بمكان أن تمتثل البلدان الساحلية التزاما مطلقا، عند تقديمها طلبات ترسيم الحدود الخارجية للجرف القاري فيما وراء 200 ميل بحري، للشروط الواردة في المادة 76 من الاتفاقية وكذلك لأية معايير أخرى من معايير القانون الدولي القابلة للتطبيق.

On an exceptional basis and as a temporary measure in order to encourage States parties to fulfil their reporting obligations under article 18 of the Convention as well as to address the backlog of reports awaiting consideration, States parties are invited to combine all their outstanding reporting obligations into a single document.
وبشكل استثنائي وكتدبير مؤقت لتشجيع الدول الأطراف على الوفاء بالتزاماتها بتقديم التقارير بموجب المادة 18 من الاتفاقية وكذلك لحل مشكلة التقارير المتأخرة التي تنتظر النظر فيها، دعيت الدول الأطراف إلى أن تجمع جميع التقارير المتأخرة وفاء لالتزاماتها في وثيقة واحدة.

The Division had convened a workshop in Sierra Leone in June 2006 to discuss the shortcomings of the draft country report prepared under article 18 of the Convention and also issues relating to implementation of the Convention.
وعقدت الشعبة حلقة عمل في سيراليون في حزيران/يونيه 2006 لمناقشة عيوب مشروع التقرير القطري الذي تم إعداده بموجب المادة 18 من الاتفاقية وكذلك المسائل المتعلقة بتنفيذ الاتفاقية.

Concern was expressed at the absence of provisions in the domestic legislation designed to implement the provisions of article 4 (a) and (b) of the Convention, and also about how the Convention as a whole was being implemented by the State party in its national legal system.
٥٨١ - أعرب عن القلق بشأن خلو التشريعات الوطنية من أحكام تستهدف تنفيذ أحكام المادة ٤ )أ( و )ب( من الاتفاقية وكذلك بشأن كيفية تنفيذ الاتفاقية ككل من جانب الدولة الطرف في نظامها القانوني الوطني.
