87. In paragraph 28 of section III of resolution 52/220, the General Assembly had decided that the organizational chart of the Department for Disarmament Affairs should be as contained in the Secretary-General's report (A/52/303).

20. It is also noted that under the terms of paragraph 8 (e) of section III of resolution 60/283, the limited discretion experiment shall not be implemented in pursuance of General Assembly resolutions calling for the implementation of decisions " within existing resources " .

14. Concerning the requested amendment to paragraph 8 (e) of section III of resolution 60/283, the Secretary-General states that experience demonstrates that the use of limited budgetary discretion would seem fitting for cross-cutting activities that affect many budget sections, especially where absorption within a budget section could affect programme delivery (A/66/570, para. 49).
14 - وفيما يتعلق بطلب تعديل الفقرة 8 (هـ) من الجزء الثالث من القرار 60/283، ذكر الأمين العام أن الخبرة المكتسبة توحي بأن استخدام السلطة التقديرية المحدودة بشأن الميزانية يناسب الأنشطة الشاملة لعدة قطاعات التي تؤثر في العديد من أبواب الميزانية، ولا سيما في الحالات التي يمكن أن يؤثر فيها استيعاب النفقات ضمن أحد أبواب الميزانية في تنفيذ البرامج (A/66/570، الفقرة 49).
