The Advisory Committee welcomes the proposal to establish the Steering Committee in the initial phase of the strategic heritage plan as part of its project governance and oversight framework, and trusts that the advice and stewardship provided by the Committee will prove beneficial to all stakeholders.
وترحب اللجنة الاستشارية بمقترح إنشاء لجنة توجيهية في المرحلة الأولية من الخطة الاستراتيجية لحفظ التراث باعتبارها جزءا من إطار إدارة المشروع والإشراف عليه، وهي على ثقة بأن مشورة هذه اللجنة وإشرافها سيكونان مفيدين لجميع الجهات المعنية.

68. In section V, paragraph 29, of its resolution 68/247 A, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report on the negotiations with the host country on loan arrangements for both the renovation and the construction portions of the strategic heritage plan.
68 - طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام، في الفقرة 29 من الجزء الخامس من قرارها 68/247 ألف، أن يقدم تقريرا عن المفاوضات التي يجريها مع البلد المضيف بشأن ترتيبات الحصول على قرض للجزأين المتعلقين بالتجديد والتشييد من الخطة الاستراتيجية لحفظ التراث.

In its resolutions 66/247 and 67/254, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to ensure that the renovation phase of the strategic heritage plan is not to start before the General Assembly has taken a decision on the matter and the capital master plan has been completed.
وطلبت الجمعية العامة في قراريها 66/247 و 67/254 إلى الأمين العام أن يكفل عدم البدء في مرحلة التجديد من الخطة الاستراتيجية لحفظ التراث قبل اتخاذ الجمعية العامة قرارا في هذا الصدد وإنجاز المخطط العام لتجديد مباني المقر.

The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 66/247, part VII. The report presents the detailed implementation plan and cost analysis for the renovation phase of the strategic heritage plan of the Palais des Nations based on the medium-term implementation option set out in the previous report of the Secretary-General (A/66/279).
يُقدَّم هذا التقرير عملا بالجزء السابع من قرار الجمعية العامة 66/247. ويعرض التقرير خطة التنفيذ المفصلة والتحليل المفصل للتكاليف لمرحلة التجديد من الخطة الاستراتيجية لحفظ التراث في قصر الأمم على أساس خيار التنفيذ في الأجل المتوسط المحدد في التقرير السابق للأمين العام (A/66/279).

34.16 While continued steps towards the full development of the strategic heritage plan are being pursued, it is understood that the renovation phase of the strategic heritage plan will not start before the General Assembly has taken a decision on the matter and the capital master plan has been completed, in accordance with resolution 64/243 (para. 136).
