The Assembly considers that the possibility of dispatching a United Nations visiting mission to St. Helena at an appropriate time should be kept under review, and requests the Special Committee to continue to examine the question of St. Helena at its next session and to report thereon to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.

16. Requests the Special Committee to continue the examination of the question of the small Territories and to recommend to the General Assembly the most suitable steps to be taken to enable the populations of those Territories to exercise their right to self-determination and independence, and to report thereon to the Assembly at its forty-eighth session.
١٦ - تطلب من اللجنة الخاصة أن تواصل دراسة مسألة اﻷقاليم الصغيرة وأن توصي الجمعية العامة بأنسب الخطوات التي يتوجب اتخاذها لتمكين سكان تلك اﻷقاليم من ممارسة حقهم في تقرير المصير والاستقلال، وأن تقدم تقريرا في هذا الشأن إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة واﻷربعين.
