The provisions of paragraph 1 of article XV of the Agreement are based on the corresponding provisions of article V of the 1946 Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations to which the United Republic of Tanzania has been a party without any reservation since 29 October 1962.

(d) The decision shall be deemed to have been adopted by a simple majority of Member States present and voting, in other cases to which subparagraph (c) of this article is not applicable, having regard to the provisions of article V, paragraph 4 and those of article XVI of the Pact.
