222. The Ministry of Social Development endeavours to protect children from temporary or permanent deprivation of their family environment, in order to safeguard their interests. It also seeks to keep children in a wholesome environment in which they can receive a proper upbringing and education.
222- وتحرص وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية على حماية وصون الطفل خشية تعرضه للحرمان سواء بشكل مؤقت أو دائم من بيئته العائلية حفاظاً على مصلحته، وإبقائه في بيئة سليمة تضمن له التنشئة والتربية السليمة، حيث تم ما يلي:

123. Article 20 states that “A child temporarily or permanently deprived of his or her family environment ... shall be entitled to special protection and assistance provided by the State”.
٣٢١- وتشير المادة ٠٢ إلى أنه " للطفل المحروم بصفة مؤقتة أو دائمة من بيئته العائلية ... الحق في حماية ومساعدة خاصتين توفرهما الدولة " .

The State party is under the obligation " to ensure the child such protection and care as is necessary for his or her well-being " (art. 3, para. 2) and to " ensure alternative care " to " a child temporarily or permanently deprived of his or her family environment " (art. 20).
والدولة الطرف ملزمة " بأن تضمن للطفل الحماية والرعاية اللازمتين لرفاهه " (الفقرة 2 من المادة 3)، و " تضمن ... رعاية بديلة " " للطفل المحروم بصفة مؤقتة أو دائمة من بيئته العائلية " (المادة 20).

In addition, article 20 clearly states that " a child temporarily or permanently deprived of his or her family environment, or in whose own best interests cannot be allowed to remain in that environment, shall be entitled to special protection and assistance provided by the State " .

Article 7 should be read in conjunction with article 8 (preservation of identity, including nationality, name, and family relations), article 9 (avoiding separation from parents), article 10 (family reunification), and article 20 (continuity of upbringing of children deprived of their family environment).

Article 7 should not be considered in isolation but should be read in conjunction with article 8 (preservation of identity, including nationality, name and family relations), article 9 (separation from parents), article 10 (family reunification) and article 20 (continuity of upbringing of children deprived of their family environment).
