٣ - وأشار اﻷمين العام، في الفقرة ٢ من مرفق تقريره المؤرخ ٢٣ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٨ (S/1998/148) إلى أن مدة ولاية بعثة اﻷمم المتحدة في جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى ستكون محدودة وتنتهي، رهنا بما يُقرره مجلس اﻷمن، بعد مرور ٩٠ يوما على تاريخ إعلان نتائج الانتخابات، على أن يبدأ الخفض الفعلي لحجم البعثة في أجل أقصاه ٦٠ يوما اعتبارا من تاريخ ذلك اﻹعلان.
