Further, it welcomed the launch of the Cities Alliance initiative by the Centre and the World Bank as part of the efforts of the United Nations system to achieve the twin goals of the Habitat Agenda, and requested the Executive Director to take a leadership and coordinating role in this initiative.

11. A regional seminar entitled " Firearms, their parts and ammunition: partnership with the industry and the commercial sector to implement the United Nations Programme of Action " was organized by the Centre in Panama City from 13 to 15 November 2002 in cooperation with the Government of Panama and with sponsorship from the Government of Switzerland.
11 - وجرى تنظيم حلقة دراسية إقليمية بعنوان " الأسلحة الصغيرة وأجزاؤها وذخائرها: المشاركة مع القطاعين الصناعي والتجاري لتنفيذ برنامج عمل الأمم المتحدة " من جانب المركز في بنما سيتي، بنما، في الفترة من 13 إلى 15 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2002، بالتعاون مع حكومة بنما، وفي سياق رعاية حكومة سويسرا.

11. Invites Member States to provide the Secretary-General with information on the nature of links between terrorism and other forms of crime in order to increase synergies in the delivery of technical assistance by the Centre, and requests the Secretary-General to include an analysis of such information in his report on the implementation of the present resolution;
11 - تدعو الدول الأعضاء إلى تزويد الأمين العام بمعلومات عن طبيعة الصلات بين الإرهاب وسائر أشكال الجريمة، بغية زيادة التآزر في تقديم المساعدة التقنية من جانب المركز ، وتطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يضمن تقريره عن تنفيذ هذا القرار دراسة تحليلية لتلك المعلومات؛

11. Invites Member States to provide the Secretary-General with information on the nature of links between terrorism and other forms of crime in order to increase synergies in the delivery of technical assistance by the Centre for International Crime Prevention, and requests the Secretary-General to include an analysis of such information in his report on the implementation of the present resolution;
11- تدعو الدول الأعضاء إلى تزويد الأمين العام بمعلومات عن طبيعة الصلات بين الارهاب وغيره من أشكال الجريمة، بغية زيادة التآزر في تقديم المساعدة التقنية من جانب المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي، وتطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يضمن تقريره عن تنفيذ هذا القرار تحليلا لتلك المعلومات؛

Recalling its resolution 13/9 of 8 May 1991, in which it requested the Executive Director of the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (Habitat) to complete the design of and test the internationally comparable set of policy-sensitive shelter sector indicators under development by the Centre and the World Bank, as part of the assessment procedure for monitoring the Global Strategy for Shelter to the Year 2000,
إذ تشير الى قرارها ١٣/٩ المؤرخ في ٨ أيار/مايو ١٩٩١، الذي طلبت فيه من المدير التنفيذي لمركز اﻷمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية )الموئل( أن يقوم باستكمال تصميم واختبار مجموعة مؤشرات قطاع المأوى التي تراعي اعتبارات السياسة العامة وتكون قابلة للمقارنة دوليا، وهي المجموعة التي يجري وضعها حاليا من جانب المركز والبنك الدولي، كجزء من اﻹجراء المتعلق بتقييم رصد الاستراتيجية العالمية للمأوى حتى عام ٢٠٠٠،

Noting that the magnitude of the reconstruction and rehabilitation tasks following a disaster requires a sustained effort on the part of the Centre which surpasses the human resources available,
