199. At its 53rd plenary meeting, on 20 December 2012, on the proposal of the Vice-President of the Council (Indonesia), the Council took note of the report of the Tenth United Nations Conference on the Standardization of Geographical Names (E/CONF.101/144).

5. At its 46th meeting, on 23 July, on the proposal of the Vice-President of the Council, Somduth Soborun (Mauritius), and in accordance with General Assembly decision 55/488, the Council took note of a number of documents considered in connection with agenda item 3 as a whole.

At the 52nd meeting, on 26 November 2012, on the proposal of the Vice-President of the Council, (Mexico), the Council decided to take note of the reports of the Secretary-General on the quadrennial comprehensive policy review (A/67/93-E/2012/79) and on the analysis of the funding of operational activities for development of the United Nations system (A/67/94-E/2012/80).

The President drew the Council’s attention to document E/ 1998/L.52, which contained draft decisions submitted by the Vice-President of the Council on the basis of informal consulta-tions.
